The housing deficit present in the Dominican Republic mainly affects people with few economic resources. This problem has resulted in thousands of families without the possibility of having a decent home because their economic situation keeps them resigned in a life of limitations.

 

Rebuilding homes and orphanages are one of the services that we are passionate about and also identifies us as a foundation since some of us have had the experience of living in very unpleasant conditions or we have been the victim of some natural phenomena.

 

For this, we have a group of people responsible for searching and choosing carefully the families that need and live in precarious conditions and need a repair urgently. Therefore, benefit these families with the blessing of having a house worth living.

And for this, we have decided to surprise these families with the most shocking, unexpected and unforgettable surprise visit.

 

 

How do we do it?

 

The PROVDA team together with the volunteers from the community come to visit the selected family, share with the family and give the most shocking news they can receive that day.

 

The technical team talks with the family and they choose to rebuild the house, thinking of accommodating the best possible and satisfying their needs. They think about space if some of the members suffer from some disease or disability.

 

We will take the families to a safe place until the reconstruction is complete. This must be done in the shortest possible time, with the help of contractors and an army of workers, including those of the community. In some cases, the reconstruction will include demolishing the entire house. All this and much more as long as we see happy faces and we offer a better quality of life.

 

 

Whom do we serve?

 

We include orphans, widows, the elderly, the disabled, people who have fought serious illnesses, or who suffer terminal illnesses, families that have been affected by natural phenomena, etc.

 

We understand that children are not responsible or culpable for living in such conditions
